As 2012 draws to a close, we just wanted to take a moment and say “THANKS” to each of you for an amazing year. We saw records for the events KTPK was involved in this year. From Farm Show, Garden Show, Lawn and Garden Show to Spirit of Kansas, Fiesta Mexicana- Jalapeno Eating Contest, Ride for the Red (benefitting our Local Red Cross) Malloween, Truck giveaway, concerts, Listener Appreciation Concert, winning free money with Legends & Loot and Holiday cash, to our live broadcasts, WOW, we were busier then ever.
Our proudest moments this year have probably been what we have done for the children of Northeast Kansas. With your help we raised over $100,000 for Children’s Miracle Network for St. Francis Health Center, and we are knee deep in our 9th annual Country Legends Cares benefitting Topeka Rescue Mission that collects new, unwrapped toys, clothing items and monetary donations. This year we have a record 95 drop off locations! We also are proud to be broadcasting on our internet streaming all Hayden Wildcats Sports and Topeka Roadrunners games.
We have the best, loyal and dedicated listeners at our station. You are our family and we are here to serve you. Words cannot adequately express our gratitude towards you. We look forward to an amazing 2013.
